I have been there done that and not inclined to do it again. Why you ask.... Always have to stand in line---feel pressured to make a decision and it is hard to do....felt like the menu is laid out too scattered and I like to look at something up close not on a board above my head. It was hotter than a fat man's nutsack squashed in a leather speedo on a hot summer day in there----I understand they have a "potbelly" stove and that is the theme but crack a window or door or something...whew... The food is okay but it's a sandwich people so for comfort reasons I will get it elsewhere...

Great for a chain sandwich chain. I choose Potbellys over any other sandwich shop in MG. Toasted subs with tasty toppings. I love the grilled chicken n' cheddar with mayo, lettuce, hot peppers, onion, and seasoning. Can't go wrong.

This was a bit of a comical experience. My bottomless-pit of a husband was starving after getting a massage at a place nearby and he made the call to try out Potbelly's as several friends gave him raving reviews. We walked in, grabbed a drink and got into a line. The first guy standing by the register asked us what we wanted and we told him...he motioned us on and started chit-chatting to a co-worker. This co-worker, also standing at a register, then asked us what we'd ordered and we told him. Then he motioned us to move down the line to a third guy...who ALSO asked us what we ordered... Somehow we eventually paid for and received our food but both of us couldn't quite stop snickering about it. Maybe they just have to work on their processes but it seems to me that if you ask someone what they want you are then expected to prepare something or punch something into your register....right?? The food was delicious and the soup was divine, but these boys were a bunch of chicken-heads when it came to the service side of it.

This is pretty much my "go to" lunch spot when up in Maple Grove for some work appts. I like Potbelly because: they sandwiches are prepared fast and toasted! they have AMAZING, soft sugar cookies!! and the food tastes good, and easy to take back on the road. i always get the same sandwich everytime... Original Wreck on wheat (hold the banana peppers)

My one-star rating is based solely on the service I received at this institution a week ago. I ordered a T-K-Y Skinny with mayonnaise, onions, and lettuce. The girl adding condiments to my sandwich added tomatoes instead of onions and I have a tomato allergy. No big deal, but when I went back to politely ask for a new sandwich, the condiment girl just stared at me while I apologized and put she hot peppers in the middle of my sandwich. I got the impression that she messed up orders often because her supervisor wrote out a list of the three condiments I wanted the second time around, and she must have been pissed that I got her in trouble. Not cool, greasy, high-school-aged girl who works at this Potbelly. I felt like I was being punished for HER being bad at her job, and I won't be returning.

Had the smoked ham sub and it was very good. Service was excellent fast and the staff made sure the sub was done the way I wanted. Potbelly is very good place if you want a sub, a step above Subway.

A great place for a casual lunch. Love the 300 calorie TKY! Great salads and soups too.

This is just plain crap, fast food. The place was packed. There's no end to the lack of taste of the American public. I had never been to a PotBelly. I ordered an Italian sandwich which had 'Italian cold cuts' and provolone. What I got was this God awful sandwhich that had been toasted, with the provolone toasted along with the other ingredients. Also there is a 'ton' of carbs in the huge bun. Besides a horrible toasted sandwhich, you can buy a bag of Chips (wow), also you can get a 'smoothie' - my friend ordered a strawberry smoothie. It is also crap. If you're the kind of person who likes chips in a bag, smoothies, and sickening sweet cookies - then this might be the place for you. Go to NYC or Philly or NJ - and compare - the PotBelly sandwhiches are awful. I guess there is no limit to what the American public will buy. Besides the place being really noisy, they had some lame guitarist trying to sing and sell CD's.

If and when your wife drags you shopping in Maple Groove for a day of power shopping you are going to need a lot of patience and place to escape to recharge. Pot Belly's would be a good choice. Its like a subway but you don't have to just "think fresh" because they actually serve fresh quality ingredients on good bread. Yes that means you are not going find a foot long for 5 bucks, but pork over a few extra dollars because it is 100% worth it. I also always give extra props for having homemade soup, great malts, and classic glass bottled sodas. TIP: The hot peppers are amazing and they also sell them by the jar to spice up the brown bag sandwiches you make at home.

It may be a chain, but it's one of the better chain sandwich shops around. I've eaten at many Potbellys in the DC area and this one at the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes is no different. Good, simple sammies that are toasted and delicious. Plus their chocolate chip cookies and milkshakes are excellent.

They have a ton of choices for drinks, the sandwiches are good. Just the portion size is odd, Instead of a small they have originals, (which is smalls) and the Big, (which is medium). Other than that the food is delicious!

The sandwiches here are pretty good. I came on a really rainy day so the warm sandwich and hot soup warmed me right up. The sandwiches aren't quite as good as Wegman's fresh subs, but they are definitely good for a quick meal. We don't have any Pot Belly's in Central PA so whenever I come to Minnesota, I always try to stop by for at least one sandwich. I wish we had one where I lived though.

Out of all the sandwich places Pot Belly is my favorite. I love pretty much everything on the menu and have not had a bad experience yet. My favorite is the Turkey sandwich and the smoothies are SOOOO GOOD! If you are in the mood for a great quick cheap meal stop at Potbelly. I would always choose this over Subway, Jimmy Johns, and Quiznos.
